- Any person who unlawfully and intentionally interferes with—
- data; or
- a computer program,
is guilty of an offence.
- For purposes of this section ‘‘interferes with data or a computer program’’ means to permanently or temporarily—
- delete data or a computer program;
- alter data or a computer program;
- render vulnerable, damage or deteriorate data or a computer program;
- render data or a computer program meaningless, useless or ineffective;
- obstruct, interrupt or interfere with the lawful use of, data or a computer program; or
- deny access to data or a computer program,
held in a computer data storage medium or a computer system.
